Fixed penalty for Road Traffic Offences (inc. fixed penalty points)
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service state that “fixed penalties are offered as an alternative to prosecution for some less serious road traffic offences. Road traffic fixed penalties are only registered when they are actively accepted by the accused.”
