Turnaround residential service for male service users with chronic issues/lifestyle collapse.

Possible Outcomes

Stabilisation, Detox. Support following period of rehabilitation

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Referral by CJSW. Note a place requires to be available for an individual subject to a Community Payback Order. This process is undertaken in partnership with the CJSW and addiction worker involved in the case. A review is held at the half way stage of the residential period. This allows time for the planning and is an opportunity to have an action plan in place to support the individual’s return to the community.

Specialist one-to-one support through, Peer Mentoring service, bail supervision

Possible Outcomes

To support individuals on Orders to develop their independence and social skills, link to appropriate services, explore aspirations, identify goals and put in place achievable steps to improve their quality of life.

Interventions suitable for

Women aged 18 and over who have live criminal justice involvement in the last 12 months

Programme Title and Provider

218 Project; Turning Point Scotland

Female criminal justice service residential facility offering support for drug/alcohol use, offending behaviour, physical/ mental health, accommodation and social needs.

Possible Outcomes

To provide a safe environment in which women can address offending behaviour; tackle the underlying causes of offending behaviour; help women avert crises in their lives; and enable women to move on and reintegrate into society.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

The assessment process has seven stages beginning with an initial assessment of the referral. Following this an appointment is made for a woman offender to attend the service to begin the assessment process. Once fully assessed a comprehensive, individually tailored care plan is created
