Sustainable Housing on Release for Everyone: Event Report

On 18 December 2025 Community Justice Scotland’s Engagement for Improvement team hosted an on-line facilitated workshop on the SHORE Standards – Sustainable Housing on Release for Everyone – the delivery of which forms part of the Scottish Government’s National Strategy for Community Justice.
Attendees from across the community justice workforce shared practice insights and experiences on key issues relating to the delivery of SHORE, including challenges, opportunities and benefits. This report summarises the key points from the presenter inputs, participant questions, answers, discussion and practice sharing.
