There is a local Bail Supervision scheme in operation across Moray, delivered by Criminal Justice Social Work, in conjunction with partners as appropriate. Bail supervision is also provided for people subject to electronic monitoring whilst on bail.

Possible Outcomes

Bail supervision provides a robust alternative to remand for individuals who are assessed as needing supervision and support to meet their bail conditions.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Assessment by Criminal Justice Social Worker in conjunction with Procurator Fiscal. A written report is submitted to the Court by Criminal Justice Social Work.
