Chloé's role

As Restorative Justice Project Lead, Chloé leads the national Restorative Justice team in delivering the Scottish Government’s vision for accessible, high‑quality restorative justice for adults across Scotland. Her role centres on strategic stakeholder engagement nationwide, alongside shaping policy and delivery models aligned with the Restorative Justice Action Plan, to ensure restorative justice is delivered effectively and achieves positive, meaningful outcomes for individuals and communities.

Background

Chloé joined Community Justice Scotland in 2025 as Restorative Justice Project Lead, bringing a strong research and policy background to advancing evidence‑based reform. Previously at Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems, she played a key role in shaping Scotland’s medical and policy response to alcohol‑related harm, leading project work on stigma, addiction services, health inequalities, and support within the justice system. She also serves on the board of the Scottish Recovery Consortium, where she is committed to promoting recovery, valuing lived experience, and amplifying the voices of those most affected.
