Community Payback Order Treatment: Mental Health

Last updated: 27th June 2024

Description:

Where the order contains a mental health treatment requirement an individual must submit to treatment by or under the direction of a registered medical practitioner or a registered psychologist (or both) with a view to improving the offender’s mental condition.

Further Information:

Mental Health Treatment Requirements are available to the Stirling Courts and can be supervised by Justice Social Work. The Court will need to be satisfied that the treatment is available and advice will be given on this in the CJSWR. Justice Social Work has a CPN attached to it 2 days a week in Stirling, providing a direct service to people not engaged in other services as well as a consultative role to JSW staff.
