Details of all Specific national or local scheme/intervention(s) available

Dedicated social workers and social work assistants can offer bail assessments and supervision to service users attending Airdrie, Lanark or Hamilton sheriff courts.

Possible Outcomes

Bail compliance/reduction in breaches and or referrals to other agencies such as the recovery cafes to offer support.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Request court social work assessment and be willing to engage in a plan of support.

Where no specific scheme/intervention is available, is there capacity to provide a bespoke service based on judicial request?

There would be the opportunity to tailor a bespoke service, but this may take days to ensure the support is suitable. Depending on the needs of service users, negotiations could take place with social work, housing providers and/or third sector partners. The type of tailored service would depend on the needs of the service user and the capacity of services to respond to requests.
