Where the order contains a drug treatment requirement an individual must submit to treatment by or under the direction of a specified person with a view to reducing or eliminating the offender’s dependency on, or propensity to misuse, drugs.

Community Addiction Recovery Service (CAReS)- provides assessment and treatment options for those considered to require tier 3 level supports and services. This includes people who are dependent or severely affected by drugs such as Cocaine, Heroin, Illicit Benzodiazepines, Cannabis, NPS, Stimulants, Solvents. The service offers both medical and social work supports for those experiencing challenges in relation to drug dependency and those severely impacted by drug use. South Lanarkshire Beacons and Liber8 Lanarkshire Ltd provide assessment and treatment options for those considered to require tier 2 level supports and services. The service comprises of peer support networks coupled with therapeutic interventions and access to psychotherapy. Turning Point “Reachout” service provides assessment and treatment options for those considered to require tier 3&2 level supports and services. This service comprises of peer support networks coupled with therapeutic interventions and access to psychotherapy. Regen:FX “The GIVIT” provides assessment and treatment options for those aged 16-25 and operate a youth work approach and provide outreach services to young people who experience challenges as a result of their drug use. This service is aimed at young people who require tier 2 level supports and services.
