Aim/Purpose:
We specialise in providing independent, professional, issue-based advocacy. Mostly supporting those who are affected by disability, chronic long term illness, mental ill health, learning, physical and sensory difficulties, brain injury, autism and personality disorder. We provide access to advocacy services that promote recovery from drug and alcohol addiction issues. We advocate for people who are in situations where they may be vulnerable. We speak up for and stand alongside people who may not to be heard – supporting them to express their views and make their own decisions. We enable people to make informed choices about, and remain in control of, their own social and health care needs. Information and knowledge are key to enabling people to make positive choices. We work by creating the thinking space needed to explore possibilities.
