Aim/Purpose:

We provide a safe place to talk, to help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. We can help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them. We can also help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act, and find ways to change them. We also help you to improve your knowledge of mental health, build your confidence, achieve personal fulfilment and enable participation in community activities.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

We offer counselling and groupwork to young people from 8 to 18 years of age. Our adult work covers counselling, group work and Peer Support and is available to anyone aged 16 and over. Referrals can made online, by telephone or email either by self or by any other agency.

Mindspace Counselling Service – counselling is delivered both in Perth City and at a number of rural locations around Perthshire. The counselling service is open to individuals over 8 years of age.
