Aim/Purpose:
Skills Development Scotland (SDS) provides free, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to people of all ages across Scotland. Whether you are leaving school, exploring further or higher education, looking for work, considering a career change, returning to work after a break, or developing your skills for the future, our experienced Careers Advisers can help. We work one-to-one with individuals to help them understand their options, make informed decisions, and take practical steps towards their goals. Support can include identifying strengths and interests, exploring career pathways, searching for jobs, preparing CVs and applications, improving interview skills, and accessing education, training, apprenticeships, or employment opportunities. Our advisers offer personalised support tailored to individual circumstances, helping people build confidence, overcome barriers, and achieve positive outcomes in learning and work.
