Aim/Purpose:

The Moray SWAP is a partnership project delivered by Enable Works and UHI Moray and is funded by the UK government Shared Prosperity Fund. The project supports individuals of working age aged 16 plus with barriers preventing them from moving into employment, training or other positive destinations. Support is bespoke and is delivered on a one to one basis and/or via group sessions. Specific sector based programmes are also delivered on a group basis. The type of support provided depends on the requirements of the individual and includes: Vocational and accredited training – examples include: Construction, Hospitality, Manufacturing etc. Work placement Employability provision – CV, Interview Skills, Job Matching, In work support. Individuals can receive support from the project from as long as they require it .

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • Middle-aged adult (36-55), Older adult (56 and older), Young adult (18-35)

Exclusions:

Individuals must be committed to moving into employment and/or training.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency

Referrals can be made by emailing: swap.moray@enable.org.uk. Please provide as much information as possible about the individuals circumstances. Referrals are assessed on a weekly basis on a Wednesday.
