Aim/Purpose:
Restoration Fife is a community group who provide low-threshold access to a diverse range of support for adults (and their families) who are in recovery from substance use. We provide a safe space where attendees can: reduce their isolation and improve their social networks; make long lasting lifestyle changes and build resilience; learn new skills and access education/employment opportunities; have fun in a substance-free environment; explore different pathways to recovery from substance use; reduce drug related harm. There is a range of activities to suit everyone, no matter what stage of recovery they are at.
Suitability criteria:
- All genders
- Middle-aged adult (36-55), Older adult (56 and older), Young adult (18-35)
Exclusions:
No exclusions apply if service criteria is met and the risk level is manageable.
Assessment/referral process:
- Any agency, Self-referral
Referrals can be sent to admin@restorationfife.org.uk. Please send some basic contact information and a short background on the person you are referring, explaining why you think they would be suitable for our group and detailing any risks you feel we should be aware of. Clients/service users can also contact us themselves without being formally referred. We have a small core staff working different shifts, but we would generally aim to make initial contact within a week to have an informal chat.
