Aim/Purpose:

Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE) provides advice and guidance to individuals and organisations in Fife on how to improve accessibility and inclusion. We focus on helping people be treated fairly and to be included where they live, work or study. Individuals and community groups can contact FCE to share specific equality concerns, report Hate Crime or any barriers experienced when accessing local services. FCE will share concerns with partner organisations to help them improve their service and we can also find out how some situations can be resolved. We also refer on to local support organisations for specialist support and work with local groups to connect individuals with communities.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • Middle-aged adult (36-55), Older adult (56 and older), Young adult (18-35)

Exclusions:

We do not provide legal advice, translation services or direct financial support to individuals or groups, however we can assist in contacting the lead organisations who provide those services locally.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral
