Where the order contains a mental health treatment requirement an individual must submit to treatment by or under the direction of a registered medical practitioner or a registered psychologist (or both) with a view to improving the offender’s mental condition.

Falkirk Justice Services have a Community Psychiatric Nurse who is based in the Justice Services Building. Depending on assessed needs, the individual will either be supported by the Community Psychiatric Nurse or referred to an appropriate agency to meet their level of need such as their GP, Mental Health Team or FDAMH (Falkirk District Association for Mental Health).
