Aim/Purpose:
Cocaine Anonymous (CA) Scotland is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addiction. CA offers a free, confidential, peer-led recovery programme for individuals who have a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances, including alcohol. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to stop using. The fellowship follows a 12-Step recovery programme based on mutual aid and shared lived experience. Regular meetings are held across Scotland, both in-person and online, providing safe, non-judgemental spaces where individuals can access support, build recovery networks, and reduce isolation. CA does not provide clinical treatment, counselling or medical services. Instead, it complements statutory and third-sector services by offering ongoing peer support before, during and after structured treatment. Through connection, accountability, and shared understanding, Cocaine Anonymous Scotland supports individuals to achieve and maintain long-term recovery, improve wellbeing, rebuild relationships, and reintegrate positively into their communities.
Suitability criteria:

- All ages
Exclusions:
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and other mind-altering substances. Meetings are not suitable for individuals under 18 unless accompanied and agreed in advance in line with safeguarding guidance.
