Aim/Purpose:

The aim of Simon Community Scotland is to combat and prevent homelessness in Scotland. We work to support individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing essential services such as emergency accommodation, outreach support, health and wellbeing services, and practical assistance. The organisation focuses on helping people rebuild their lives, offering care, compassion, and long-term solutions to end homelessness, while advocating for systemic change to address the root causes of housing insecurity. Their mission is rooted in ensuring dignity, respect, and inclusion for everyone, particularly those facing extreme hardship.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • Middle-aged adult (36-55), Older adult (56 and older), Young adult (18-35)

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, GP, Health professional, Self-referral

Simon Community Scotland uses a variety of referral processes to ensure that individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness can access the appropriate support and services. Our referral pathways are designed to be flexible, inclusive, and accessible, enabling people to get help in a way that suits their specific needs.
