Aim/Purpose:
Alcohol counselling recovery service. Free confidential information, advice and support for those aged 16 years plus residing in East or South Ayrshire who are concerned about their own or a loved one\’s drinking. Access to specific Justice Services Alcohol Counsellor with a person centred approach. If service users are not subject to an ATR (with expectations regarding engagement), they can be re-referred if they are not ready to engage.
Suitability criteria:
- All genders
- All ages
Assessment/referral process:
- Any agency, GP, Health professional, Other, Self-referral, Social work
Can be assessed and referred at CJSWR stage or at any point of supervision. Those who are subject to Licence, CPO, ATR or attending as per instruction of their action plan should be formally referred by their Justice Social Worker.
