TCA Counselling – Court referral scheme- this pathway was developed in partnership with the Sheriffs and Court Social Worker. This pathway enables the sheriffs to request a report from TCA about the client in relation to substance use. The pathway is – TCA have allocated appointments for the courts these are given to the court social worker prior to a court appearance, they will give them to the client in the court room as requested by the Sheriff. This scheme is active in Dundee but can also be accessed in Perth Kinross and Angus.
