Unpaid Work is undertaken either as part of a task squad completing work projects requested by individuals, community groups, and charitable organisations or as an individual placement within a voluntary agency. Delivery is also offered through the APEX online training platform up to 30% of hours.

Possible Outcomes

Unpaid work in Clackmannanshire normally links directly with specialist employability support provided by Apex Scotland. This service seeks to build on the routine, structure and learned work skills as transferrable employability attributes to create a safe and suitable pathway to employment. Unpaid work also has an important restorative contribution.

Court mandated, normally in line with recommendations of Criminal Justice Social Work Report (CJSWR).
