Moving On Rolling Programme
Description:
Improvement in the individual’ independent living skills, self-esteem/self-confidence with referrals to services/agencies made during the group and/or prior to the end of their order to further promote/enhance skills learned in the group and further their reintegration to the community. Locally developed in-house rolling programme. Provided in a therapeutic environment to encourage individuals to build on their existing skills and abilities. Improve their general health and wellbeing by promoting budgeting skills, menu planning, shopping and cooking. The programme is viewed as a pre-requisite to attending other identified programmes (‘Steps to Change Programme’ – offence focused programme – see below) and test their motivation and compliance to participate in a group.
