Aim/Purpose:
The Family Centre and Help Hub at HMP&YOI Grampian support families affected by imprisonment. We provide variety of support to people whose loved ones are in custody which includes: basic information, practical support, emotional support, outreach. We also advocate on behalf of those affected by imprisonment and continue to voice their needs in front of main stakeholders.

We can help with following:
- Provide ALL necessary information about visiting (i.e. procedures, rules and regulations, what to expect when you visit; how to claim travel/accommodation expenses, virtual visits, E-mail a prisoner, money transfers, etc)
- The Hub receives surplus food from the local supermarkets. The food is free for the visitors to take home. Provide information and access to virtual visits
- Provide independent advice and help raise your voices Information about HMP&YOI Grampian visiting procedures
- Providing any additional support ( i.e. how to access children visits; improve wellbeing, help explaining to your children that a parent is in prison, help you access additional support within your community, etc)
