West Dunbartonshire Addiction Service
Dumbarton Council on Alcohol (Third Sector)

Service Users can be referred to both West Dunbartonshire Addiction Service and /or Dumbarton Area Council on Alcohol (DACA).
Addiction Services will assist with prescribing of appropriate medication, referral for psychological assessment if appropriate and ongoing one-to-one supports.
DACA provides a counselling and group work service for those affected by alcohol.
Possible Outcomes
Support with problematic alcohol use using a person-centred approach.
Process for assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
As part of the Justice Social Work Report, issues with alcohol will be assessed and potential resources identified.
Referrals can also be made once a CPO has been imposed.
