Programme Title and Provider

Living Wild – Chance for Change / Next Steps; Venture Trust

Details of all Specific national or local scheme/intervention(s) available

Stirling Justice Social Work Services work in partnership with Venture Trust. Venture Trust provides tailored programmes to combine outreach support, with an intensive wilderness experience and ongoing community links.
Where the Court requests an assessment we will provide this and a recommendation as to a person’s suitability. The Venture Trust can be included in an order under a Programme Requirement and compliance would be monitored by Stirling Justice Social Work Service.

Possible Outcomes

Increased self-confidence and awareness of negative behaviours. Increased employability skills, increased use of support services, improved connections and relationships.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Assessment of suitability via Criminal Justice Social Work Report. Delivered as a sentence of the court.
