Anyone assessed as medically fit to work.

Details of all Specific national or local scheme/intervention(s) available
Full scheme available undertaking a variety of community based tasks. Skills development offered through ground work, painting and decorating and therapeutic gardening for example. Needs assessment undertaken to identify needs and risks so as to match appropriate placements. Service offered to all ages, genders, offence. Specific placements available for complex individuals and those considered a high risk. Other activities available on a modular group work basis and on an individual basis including work based courses, education and Venture Trust.
Possible Outcomes
1. The opportunity to learn new skills focusing on employability.
2. To build personal resilience and hope of a different future removed from crime.
3. Access to other activity modules on communication skills, basic drug / alcohol awareness, problem solving, RTA awareness, basic anger management awareness, assertiveness / self-confidence.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
A comprehensive assessment of people’s suitability is undertaken during the preparation of the Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
