Bail Supervision is facilitated by a staffing team within Greenock Sheriff Court but will also provide updates for Inverclyde residents appearing at other courts.
Possible Outcomes
1. Offering people early intervention and support to reduce reoffending.
2. Reduce the number of people in remand by offering a community alternative.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
Information is gathered and verified to through an assessment process, providing a brief report for the Sheriff, PF and defence agent to assist the Court in reaching a decision to grant bail.
