Justice Services provide Drug Treatment and Testing Orders to those assessed as suitable. Clinical interventions are provided by Addictions Nurses who administer a range of treatments and social workers who provide interventions to address offending behaviour.

Possible Outcomes

Support to address significant substance issues with an aim to reducing use and transferring to universal provision at an appropriate stage.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Assessment for suitability is carried out by Justice Service social workers via a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
