Justice Services operate an unpaid work service. Individuals will either be placed within our unpaid work squads under the supervision of an Unpaid Work Supervisor or in an individual placement dependent on their risk assessment and needs.
Individual placements are available in charity shops, via third sector partners such as Cyrenians and other local providers.

Possible Outcomes

Engagement in suitable unpaid work activities to increase skills, links to employment training unit / Cyrenians or other appropriate services such as Change Grow Live (CGL) Addictions Support to address needs as part of ‘other activity’.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Assessment for Level 2 Orders is via Criminal Justice Social Work Reports. Those placed on a level 1 order will have their needs assessed by their allocated Unpaid Work Officer at their first appointment.
