Available at Falkirk Sheriff Court. Bail Officers attend court each day to assess those who have bail opposed and who may be suitable for the scheme.

Possible Outcomes

Referrals for support will be made where appropriate and will be dependent on need identified, e.g. support required with substance misuse, social or welfare needs.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Where bail is opposed, assessment is undertaken by the bail officers who then provide a report on suitability for inclusion in the scheme to the court prior to the individual’s appearance from custody.
