Referrals would be made to NHS partners at psychological therapies, psychiatric services and community mental health teams as appropriate.

Individuals who are assessed as presenting a serious risk of causing harm and may suffer from a Personality Disorder can be referred to the Serious Offender Liaison Service at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

Possible Outcomes

As required to manage mental health challenges and reintegrate back into local communities.
