Aim/Purpose:

In East Ayrshire, the Rapid Access to Drug and Alcohol Recovery (RADAR) service is in place which provides a single point of contact for anyone concerned about their own or someone else’s drug and/or alcohol use. The service provides rapid access to support and/or treatment for anyone affected by drugs or alcohol in the East Ayrshire area.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • Adolescent (17 and under), Middle-aged adult (36-55), Older adult (56 and older), Young adult (18-35)

Exclusions:

The service accepts referrals for individuals who are 16 and over.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Court, GP, Health professional, Self-referral, Social work, Other

Anyone can refer, including you. Professionals and anyone else who is asked to make a referral by someone who needs drug or alcohol support, can refer.
