Simona Hristova

Before joining CJS, Simona worked in the Civil Service, first at the Student Awards Agency Scotland, and later at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. In the past she has also worked as an interpreter with the U.S. Army, and in Scottish public sector organisations like Police Scotland, SPS, Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, and the NHS. She has an academic background in classical singing, ballet, acting, an MA in Language and Linguistics, and MSc in Applied Criminology and Forensic Psychology. She has a particular interest in community, transitional and restorative justice.
