Hannah's role

Hannah has been with CJS since 2021 as an Improvement lead and, latterly, the project lead for the commissioning of voluntary throughcare.

Hannah is responsible for overseeing the project management approach within CJS and has strategic responsibility for key CJS projects including our work on restorative justice (RJ), grant management of the national voluntary throughcare service Upside commissioned by CJS and associated commissioning work and delivering tests of change projects in partnership with other teams in CJS and stakeholders.

Background

Hannah has worked in the field of community safety, policing and partnerships for the past 15 years. She started as an intelligence analyst with British Transport Police after finishing a MSc in Forensic Science and returned to Scotland in 2009 to work as a partnership analyst with West Lothian’s community safety and community planning partnership. Most recently she worked with the Scottish Community Safety Network as development manager and was seconded to the Scottish Government’s Building Safer Communities programme supporting work focused on unintentional harm and injury.

Hannah is passionate about improving outcomes for people in or impacted by the justice system and has a particular interest in research and analysis, communities and partnership working.
