Freya Brock

Improvement Lead

Freya Brock

Freya's role

In her role as Improvement Lead, Freya actively champions the inclusion of lived experience voices to be at the forefront of policy design and execution, and strives to narrow the gap between theoretical concepts and their practical implementation in her work.

Background

Freya has a background in social anthropology and human rights, where she developed her interests in understanding the connections between law, policy, and public management and their real-world impact on people’s lives.

In her previous role as Human Rights Education and Training Lead, Freya worked to support the embedding of a rights-based approach within drug and alcohol policy and practice. Through consultation work, and through the delivery of accredited training programs and courses, she worked to put human rights at the heart of policy design and practice.
