Domestic abuse programme, male/female, 16+ used for Supervised Bail, Diversion, Supervision.
Possible Outcomes
The programme utilises established risk assessments tools used by Criminal Justice Social Workers to determine future risk and perpetrators needs in relation to the level of intervention they will require to reduce reoffending e.g. SARA (Spousal Assault Risk Assessment). It also includes modules relating to stalking which has the potential to fit in with recent Stalking Assessment and Management (SAM) training completed by social workers in the service.
Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention
All domestic abuse cases will be assessed during the initial phase of any community order once imposed.

Local 12 week generic citizenship modules which can be accessed by male/female, aged 16+ used for Supervised Bail, Diversion, Supervision.

Provide opportunities to develop better understanding of community responsibility.

Assessed through statutory review process post sentence.
