Aim/Purpose:

Working4U is a service which supports West Dunbartonshire residents seeking employment opportunities, provide assistance with benefits and debt issues, help to access learning, gain qualifications and improve digital literacy.

The aim of the service is: “to support customers and communities to improve their skills, learning and financial situations, assisting them on their journey into work and protecting the rights of our citizens”.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • All ages

Exclusions:

There is no gender restrictions for using this service. There are age restrictions depending on the service being accessed. This service does not currently work with registered sex offenders or those subject to Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

Referral is an online application on WDC website.
