Aim/Purpose:

To provide training, educational and employment opportunities for young people and adults in Stirling and Forth Valley. We do this through accredited and non-accredited personal development programmes and civil amenities contracts. To be a leading employability provider in Scotland, contributing to and influencing practice, policy and delivery. We support and empower individuals to maximise their potential. As a result, we aim to reduce inequalities and poverty through the creation of more resilient, inclusive and sustainable communities.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

Aged 16-64 years from Stirling area. Agency or self-referral. A specific pathway in relation to ‘other activities’ provision has been developed.

Further Information:

Education and employability services. Holistic person centred approach to support individuals to overcome challenges affecting chances of securing and sustaining employment. Includes volunteering skills, construction and employability support. Specialist employability support is available for those who are or have been within the community justice system or at risk of becoming involved. This includes support with disclosure and overcoming multiple barriers that prevent individuals from moving forward into further training, education, employment or volunteering.
