Aim/Purpose:

Turning Point Scotland Housing First service offers support to individuals utilising the Housing First principles. Housing First support is delivered on a flexible basis ensuring that clients have choice and control over their support. Housing First support is a high level support service delivered on an assertive outreach basis. Housing First support is able to support individuals with a wide range of goals, chosen by them, with a harm reduction approach being adopted.

  • All ages

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

No gender exclusion. 16+ Those who have presented as homeless on a number of occasions and have been unable to sustain accommodation. People can self-refer to Renfrewshire Council’ Housing Support Team, or referrals can be made of their behalf by others.

Further Information:

Support for individuals to maintain tenancy and prevent homeless applications. This is not a court mandated service and requires housing assessment.
