Aim/Purpose:
Homestart Renfrewshire work with people and families who have one or more children under 5 who are finding it hard to cope. They provide support with various issues including the impact of illness or disability, post-natal illness, mental health and wellbeing challenges, relationships breakdown, loneliness, housing challenges or financial issues.
Suitability criteria:
- All genders
- All ages
Assessment/referral process:
- GP, Health professional, Self-referral, Social work
Person must be a parent or carer of a child under 5. People can self-refer or referrals can be made from health visitors or GPs.
