Aim/Purpose:

We provide a safe place to talk, to help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. We can help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them. We can also help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act, and find ways to change them. We also help you to improve your knowledge of mental health, build your confidence, achieve personal fulfilment and enable participation in community activities.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

We offer counselling and groupwork to young people from 8 to 18 years of age. Our adult work covers counselling, group work and Peer Support and is available to anyone aged 16 and over. Referrals can made online, by telephone or email either by self or by any other agency.

Mindspace Recovery College is an award-winning service that gives anyone in the local community the opportunity to learn more about living with and managing mental health. There are also sessions around skills to help you to maintain positive mental health, skills and knowledge to enjoy life in your community, employability skills and specialist peer support training. There is both a young people’ Recovery College and an adult Recovery College.
