Aim/Purpose:

Mindspace Peer Support Hub – employs Peer Support Workers trained through our SQA accredited SCQF Level 7 Mental Health Peer Support Award. They use their lived experience of mental ill health to provide one to one support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties to enhance personal growth and promote hope, confidence, life skills, connections and independence within the community.

We provide a safe place to talk, to help you make sense of things and understand yourself better. We can help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them. We can also help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act, and find ways to change them.

We also help you to improve your knowledge of mental health, build your confidence, achieve personal fulfilment and enable participation in community activities.

Suitability criteria:

  • All ages

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

We offer counselling and groupwork to young people from 8 to 18 years of age. Our adult work covers counselling, group work and Peer Support and is available to anyone aged 16 and over. Referrals can made online, by telephone or email either by self or by any other agency.
