Aim/Purpose:

The Drug and Alcohol Services are Hillcrest Futures’ services for adults and young people who use substances across Perth & Kinross. This service operates in partnership other key stakeholders to offer a wide range of supports to people affected by drug and alcohol issues and associated harms. We support individuals to build on their strengths and develop strategies to initiate and maintain their own recovery from problematic drug and alcohol use. We support family members struggling to cope with a loved one’s addiction to drugs and alcohol to improve their wellbeing and manage their situation more constructively. We deliver Drug and Alcohol Educations to Young People in school and community settings.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Self-referral

Young People and Adults who self-identify that they have problematic drug and/or alcohol use. All agencies listed can refer but must have consent from the individual. There is a multi-agency triage hub for all referrals. There is a dedicated triage phone line that people can refer themselves into.
