Aim/Purpose:

CROS is a preventative measure to reduce non-fatal overdoses, and support those in crisis. Reducing the factors that might lead to this. Please note although we support in any crisis intervention scenario, our funding only allows us to support with substance misuse either current or previous.

  • All ages

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Court, GP, Health professional, Self-referral, Social work

Positive Steps provides a Crisis Response Outreach Service (CROS) to Individuals who are in high level crisis. CROS provide a responsive, proactive, and personalised approach to supporting individuals. Often the barrier to engagement with these service is attendance and proactive engagement. Many of the most vulnerable within our communities find it difficult to co-ordinate and attend their support needs.
