Engagement / compliance with interventions potentially delivered by the following range of services: GP, Recovery Support Service (Substances), Community Detox Nurse and Substance Misuse and Mental Health Liaison Nurse, Psychiatrist.

Reduction in substance misuse, or abstinence.
Reduced risk of harm to self and/or others.
Reduced risk of reoffending.
Improved quality of life, health and sense of wellbeing for individual.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

A Drug Treatment requirement under a Community Payback Order would be considered within the Justice Social Work Report completed at the time of sentence – considering the appropriateness and need for such a disposal.
