Interventions suitable for

Individuals considered suitable for a community disposal by the court when there are drug issues identified, but where an individual has not established a chronic history of drug misuse.

As above. The CJSW Drug & Alcohol Team (DAIT) provides support & interventions (the latter mainly in the Inner Moray Firth area) as part of a Community Payback Order to individuals with drug & alcohol requirements.

Possible Outcomes

Reduced offending; social inclusion; reduction or cessation of drug use.

Process for Assessment and/or inclusion in scheme/intervention

Through a Criminal Justice Social Work Report (CJSWR). Details of programmes and interventions are normally included in the report, together with an outline action plan.
