Aim/Purpose:
Pop Plus provides those aged 16+ who have been persistently offending within Glasgow through substance use to be assessed and provided with help to tackle the issues that they are facing daily. The service seeks to minimise substance misuse and reoffending in the Glasgow City area through attending the custody suites and looking to provide one to one support and signposting to services that will benefit those within the justice system. Clients must have been in police custody aged over 16 and male. Female clients can be referred on to partner agency Tomorrows Women. The service is delivered by Sacro in partnership with Police Scotland and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership.
