Assessment/referral process:

  • Health professional, Social work

Men and women Aged 16 and over. The focus of the service is to support those with substance use issues/addictions. Referred to through social work, social care services, or NHS Trusts. Drop in service.

Further Information:

Partnering with NHS Lothian and the Health and Social Care Partnership, Turning Point operates a drop in service in a safe environment that challenges stigma and provides the advice and information required to begin the journey to recovery. Turning Point is committed to helping individuals begin their journey to recovery whilst utilising harm reduction approaches, placing safety at the forefront of care delivery. Turning Point is passionate in encouraging citizens who use the service to improve and maintain relationships with family, friends and communities to build on their sense of belonging in society.
