Aim/Purpose:

To utilise the lived experience of those who have been through the CJs and turned their lives around through the training and support of Aid&Abet To support the transition from prison back into community. From inside interventions, through relationships care plan for making changes in their lives. Through working with partner agencies in a collaboration information sharing supporting people on to more positive destinations, To Reduce prison numbers, prevent the revolving door of the prison system, Reduce crime, offending, victims substance use, premature deaths, Educate through early interventions through education, to help make families & communities the safest place to live in Scotland.

Suitability criteria:

  • All genders
  • All ages

Exclusions:

Prolific sex offenders, not excluding people with minor sex offence.

Assessment/referral process:

  • Any agency, Court, GP, Health professional, Other, Self-referral, Social work
