The Women’ Mentoring Service (WMS) is based on an understanding of the distinct needs of women and the inequalities and disadvantages faced by them. The WMS will strive to overcome these in its delivery and will seek to: – • Provide person-centred, strengths based, holistic and flexible support. • Support women to positively engage with their Community Payback Order and reduce the risk of breaching the order. • Encourage women to identify their priority needs, agree and review actions to effect positive change. • Enable and support individual women to access and engage with community resources and services. • Support and advocate on behalf of mentees.
