Aim/Purpose:
As part of the UP2U programme, we will contact non-abusive partners, which will allow support workers to provide a range of information regarding specialist agencies. Some of our partner agencies, like East Dunbartonshire Women’s Aid, will offer support to the non-abusive partner, separately from the UP2U programme.

Assessment/referral process:
- Self-referral, Social work
Female partners of any age of domestic abuse perpetrators on Up2U programme. A letter is sent to the non-abusive partner. This is entirely the individual’s choice and support will be person-led, offering safety planning and emotional support which can be delivered in either 1:1 or group settings.
